The Dead Monkey: Chapter I

Another day, another beginning. This one happens, like all of them, in
the office of Ben and Hugh's detective agency. Ben was doing his
thing, and Hugh was doing his thing, when against all expectation
there was a knock in the door. The usual brief slapfest occurred, Hugh
winning the right to go and see who was at the door.
It was, unsurprisingly, the couple from the Cases case. And so the ordeal began.
They asked "do you mind if we start rhyming?"
"Yes!" Ben said with perfect timing.
"Are you free yet?" asked the eager man.
"Just about," Ben said as the guy began.
"We wanted to ask about a monkey, see,
it died, and upset everybody."
"Thrilling," was Hugh's sarcastic reply,
"But How does that involve Ben and I?"
"We don't know how it died," said they.
"we want you to learn how - we'll pay."
