The Dead Monkey: Chapter II

Hugh Hamilton

"Can't a vet do such a thing?" said Hugh, scratching a hair on his chin.
"It's not just the how we want to know, it's the identity of the ghastly foe."
"So you two suspect some sort of foul play?"
"Why yes, we said it, that's what we say."
"Why would one kill such a thing?" the other one, Ben, decided to sing
"That's what you're here to find out, now if you'll excuse us, we must go fish for trout."
The couple left and there was silence.
"This is worse then Rupert," said Hugh.
"Agreed," said Ben. "Let's stop."
And so they did. Rhyming that is.
"I'd like a banana," decided Hugh.
"We all would like a banana."
