The Dead Monkey: Chapter XXI

"Wait a sec," Ben muttered. He spun to face grace. "Why are you here?"
"To supply a little much-needed femininity to the group," was her reply.
"What?"
"Oh, come on, I don't work for a couple of hours."
Ben glared at her for several long seconds before saying "Well, all
right, but Hugh and I get to treat you like dirt. That wasn't a
euphemism, Hugh."
"But I... Oh, fine." Hugh ceased rubbing up and down against Grace and
off they trotted.
The intrepid trio, who were fast getting tired of being called
"intrepid", made it to the house quite quickly, but not in a short
enough time for the narrator to bother to continue.
