Murder At Marple Manor: Chapter XLIV

Ben Hansen

"Why did you wake me?" asked Poirot shortly afterwards.
"We wanted to ask you if you killed Summons," asked one of the investigators, I don't care which.
"You asked me already, remember? I was number 38 on that stupid guest list of yours."
"So did you?" Asked Hugh, and outlined the evidence they had against him.
"But that's all circumstantial!" Poirot exclaimed.
"So is this murder," Ben replied.
Hugh and Poirot stared at Ben for a short while.
"Do you even know what circumstantial means?" Hugh asked after a pause.
"Yes, but I couldn't think of anything better to say," Ben replied.
"Whatever." Hugh turned back to Poirot. "So, did you do it?"
