Hugh Hamilton
"Hmm," he said. "It looks like a pin."
"That it does," said Ben. "Give me a closer look."
Hugh obediently handed Ben the pin.
"Maybe it's a key," he said after a good inspection.
"Maybe it's the murder weapon," offered Hugh.
"What? A pin?"
"Well why not?"
"You couldn't kill anybody with a pin."
"I bet I could."
"Yeah right."
"I reckon you could puncture a heart or two."
"Are you suggesting that someone stabbed him to death with a pin, hid it in a watch, then placed it on the dead man's wrist without anybody noticing?"
"Well maybe."
"Ha!"
"It's not that far fetched. Think about it. It ties in with your Poirot theory."
Ben gave Hugh a sideways look.
"Oh come on, that's a good theory."
Ben decided not to reply.
"Poirot is Belgian right?"
"Well actually," said Ben, "this one seems to be from somewhere in Africa."
"That makes perfect sense!" exclaimed Hugh. "That's why he put didn't put the watch on properly! He's not used to our numerical system. It was an honest mistake."
"All right," sighed Ben, "let's wake him."
