The Ming Poodle: Chapter XXXVII

Ben Hansen

Ben pushed the speed-dial button once more on his own mobile. Once again, Hugh pulled his phone from his pocket and placed it upon his ear with record-breaking speed. Unfortunately, the speed was also mobile-breaking. Hugh swore. Ben smirked.
"Can I go get this fixed?" Hugh asked.
"Sure, but first we have to wait for the shops to open what's the time now?
Hugh checked his watch. "Ummm... 5:32."
"Right. That leaves... 3 hours and 28 minutes before we can do something. What should we do right now?"
"Let's get some breakfast."
So they went and had a delicious breakfast. Ironically, the meal came to exactly $25 and Hugh didn't have any money on him, so Ben had to spend the very $25 that had been the focus of the last few replies.
