Hugh Hamilton
"I used to play darts with him at the rotary club" said Gorden in a deep state of reflection.
"Wow, how interesting" said Ben. "But the question is; what purpose do you serve in the plot?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, what trivial but vital information will you supply us with?"
"Hmmm" said Gorden, "I don't know, the producers didn't fill me in much"
"I'll tell you what" said Ben, "you go home and see if you can dig up some juicy facts about our friend Craper, and when the day is done you might get a piece of the prize"
"That sounds like a good deal" said Bennet thoughtfully before marching away excitedly, then coming back to get the phone number. Ben sighed and went back inside.
Inside Hugh was standing with his finger raised and his lips searching for words. Finally he said;
"What did the carnival man say to the window after he had won the bread competition?"
"Ben gave him a look that suggested all too vividly that he wanted no part in these silly games. Undeterred, Hugh continued the joke.
"Here, you win dough" he said and giggled stupidly.
Ben glared at him for three minutes, then all of a sudden leapt up from his seat and into the side door. For the third time Hugh heard a mysterious pencil-like scribble, then Ben popped back into view and gave him the old puppy dog eyes routine.
