Murder At Marple Manor: Chapter XLVI

Ben Hansen

"So, we follow?" asked Ben after half an hour.
"Wait until the ad break," replied Hugh, gazing lovingly at the repeat of Comedy Inc. that was on.
thirteen minutes later, they were on their way.
"You know," Ben said after a short while, "we should have borrowed a car."
"But neither of us can drive," Hugh responded.
"I'm sure we could work it out. Loads of other people do it, it can't be that hard."
"Never mind," said Hugh, pointing to the western-style town on the horizon. "We're here."
"How do you know Poirot came here?"
"Because this is where the criminal from our first case was hiding."
"True, but he left his plane parked out the front."
"You mean like that?" Hugh asked, pointing at the plane that had landed outside the town.
"Was that there a minute ago?"
"Who cares? Let's go."
And so they entered, Ben pausing a moment to write "WASH ME" in the dust on the plane.
