Ben Hansen
"Aren't you the guy who just came out of the lawn and gave us drinks?" Ben asked.
"Why yes sir," replied the butler, looking at them in the same way that he would look at a piece of gum on his shoe.
"You know, we're not gumshoes," Hugh told the butler. Giving the butler the now-empty martini glass, Ben reached over and hit Hugh in the side of the head.
"Would you like to enter?" asked the butler.
"Yes please." And enter they did, Hugh looking around while Ben asked the butler if he used "The butler did it" as a pickup line very often. The butler didn't dignify that with a response.
"So where are the hosts of this evening's dinner?" Ben asked after half an hour of walking along a seemingly endless hallway.
"Almost there now, sir," the butler answered, opening a door. "By the way, call me Jeeves."
"Okay Jeeves," Hugh and Ben replied simultaneously, then looked at each other strangely.
"Here we are sirs." The butler opened a door which looked identical to all the other ones. Ben and Hugh entered, preparing themselves to meet their new hosts.
