Hugh Hamilton
The train pulled into a stop at some unimportant station and various unimportant people filed off. It took a moment to realise that he was all alone on the train. He could see through to the other carridges and no one was there either.
"We're not even at Orwent yet" he protested to himself, adding "I thought this was an express"
He eventually decided that they had caught the wrong train and quickly lept off onto the station as the doors closed. He rushed up to the information booth and interrogated them.
"The express to Orwent?" the person in the booth needlessly repeated "that should turn up in about one minute"
As Hugh walked towards the instructed platform the information booth person yelled out:
"But it won't stop, it's an express"
Hugh decided not to worry about this as he reached the platform in due time. Less then a minute later a beautifully varnished train appeared in the distance. Hugh readied himself and when the train ‘twas near he grabbed a conveinient bar at the back. He immediately and painfully lurched foreward and smacked into the back of the train. He desperately held on until he finally built up the courage to climb into the carriage. After several unsuccessful attempts he still hadn't managed to get inside, so he instead climbed through a side window and into some lucky chum’s quaters.
"Hello" he said calmly.
"Hello" replied the man in the room.
"How long is this trip?"
"A week"
"Good"
He left the room and began searching for somewhere to sleep.
