The Ming Poodle: Chapter LXVIII

Hugh Hamilton

After hacking through the small trees, overcoming the alleyway, struggling through the warehouse, defeating the dragon and prancing through the western town, Hugh and Ben were finally inside the evil lair.
"There's nothing here," said Hugh in dismay.
"I agree," said Ben agreeingly. "And it scares me"
"But wait!" cried Hugh. "What's this note?"
"What's what note?"
"That note."
"Oh that note."
Hugh picked it up and inspected it.
"It says 'You must remember this Olivier'."
"How cryptic," commented Ben.
"Indeed," said Hugh.
They sat pondering the note for a sentence before Hugh cried out:
"I've got it!"
"What?" asked Ben.
"The answer."
"Do tell."
"We must go to a giant mansion in Casablanca."
"Wow. Which one?" said Ben.
"Grease!"
"You mean Xanadu right?"
"Yeah."
As they began their journey, an idea struck Ben — not literally, of course.
"Wait," he said
"What?" the other 'he' said.
"If the doctor is running away, why would he leave a clue for us to decipher?"
This left Hugh speechless until Ben took the helm once more.
